Here is this weeks’ Soundcloud playlist – Electro Strings – a little early as it seems to fit the week to come –
I know very little about this artist except what is written on her Facebook page –
A soul from Seoul. Female electronic musician and avid synthesizer adherent currently residing in Los Angeles, CA.
Today is Feminatronics’ second Birthday and I decided to put together a short and sweet playlist as a celebration.
This week I will be looking back at some of the posts and artists who I first highlighted and will be saying a few thanks to people who have been gracious in letting me reblog articles and reviews.
As you may know, I try to spotlight the SoundCloud pages of artists. Many but not all, only have their SoundCloud pages as their web presence, especially new or under the radar artists and so this is another means to give a bit of a boost and shine a light on their music. I am also posting tracks from the artist on Twitter and Facebook throughout the week as an Introducing strand.
This weeks’ artist is Buffys I know very little about her except the Soundcloud page description is Budding Composer. I like the eclecticism and hope she will continue to write and record in the future.
Feminatronic has been putting together playlists for some time on different platforms. At first, I used the 8Track format but with the recent changes on that platform, I found that I couldn’t continue to put together the eclectic and wideranging playlists any more. Unfortunately, I had to close that account.
Over the past weeks I have been replicating and creating new playlists directly on Soundcloud. I post these each Monday on Twitter and Facebook, where they are pinned for the week. Here is this weeks playlist inspired by a message I received from the artist Alma Laprida, who provided me with a great list of South American electronic musicians. There is a rich heritage of electronic music creation in that part of the world and this is the first part of my exploration. More to come soon.

Feminatronic is focussing on Noise music in all its variants.
Here is the most recent playlist that demonstrates some of the huge variety of sound and genres ( but there are many more) that I will be exploring.
