PIONEERS OF ELECTRONIC MUSIC

I went down a rabbit hole this afternoon since it’s my tenth birthday : )

I shouldn’t have favourites but Bebe Barron is definitely top of my list of Pioneers of Electronic Music.

Charlotte Bebe Barron (June 16, 1925 – April 20, 2008) – Pioneer of electronic music and co creator of Forbidden Planet filmscore.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_and_Bebe_Barron

UPDATED PLAYLIST #147 – D IS FOR…

Eclectic Electronic Soundscapes –

It’s 2023 and I’m taking stock this year and seeing how far I’ve come on my sonic journey, especially as it’s my 10th Anniversary year.
To make sure that I’m giving space for as many artists as possible and to try and discover new one’s, Feminatronic will be focussing on Artists alphabetically throughout the year on all platforms.
Here is an updated playlist for the letter D –

As with all the playlists, there are no prefences and focussing on letters makes the playlist very eclectic. They are jumping off points to discoveries. Just let some of the tracks play onto the next….follow up on “sounds like”….see who’s following, many artists follow other artists….

Artists are Jayne Dent, Christi Denton, Cio D’Or, Marie Davidson, D3K∆, Dionysa, Dynamo Dresden, Cris Derksen, Dellaplicca, Trixie Delight, Xarah Dion, Aisha Devi, Death of Codes, Daina Dieva, Delikatess, Lucrecia Dalt, Dibuk, dejacusse, DuChamp, Catherine Duc, Susan Drone, Sophie Delafontaine, Rhea Dally, Dominique Devine, Constance Demby, Dalot, Suzanne Doucet, Delphine Dora, Sarah Davachi and Delia Derbyshire.
