FEMINATRONIC CONNECT NEWS

It occurred to me that not everyone is on Facebook and often there are interesting news items that come up on the Feminatronic Connect Facebook page that not everyone can see. So I thought that I would have the occasional posts that grouped together some of these items and hopefully bring them to a wider audience. So here goes..

entropy : Louise Mackenzie

As part of her first solo exhibition, transformation content, at The Holy Biscuit Gallery, artist Louise Mackenzie broadcasts a composition that explores the relationship between human social behaviour and the scientific construct of entropy.

Entropy is a sound installation that begins with physical objects, is transformed into a live performance and then ends as a digital entity, broadcast daily on basic.fm and into the gallery space until the close of the exhibition.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Champagne-Pop FEM copy

Well, it has been quite a hectic couple of months since setting up Feminatronic and I wasn’t sure how it would go down with everyone but I have been pleasantly surprised at the positive reaction.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all –

Artists, DJ’s, Web Admins, Bloggers, Radio Stations, E-Zines, everyone on FB who have taken the time to read, like and comment throughout these past months – without you I might have given up this crazy idea.

Finally, I wish you all a very Happy New Year and may 2014 be

Creative and Peaceful

Best Wishes
